Our 100-series courses are an introduction to using AI for legal work, suitable for beginners. Our 200-series courses are a deep dive into advanced techniques and require some familiarity with AI or completion of a 100-series course

While the courses are designed with in-house counsel in mind, law firm lawyers benefit from them too. Past participants include associates, partners, and paralegals across practice areas like patent law, litigation, and trademark prosecution.

Yes, select courses are eligible for CLE credit in California, ranging from 1 to 1.25 hours per session. Provider will apply for CA MCLE Accreditation for certain instructors. Our CLE accredited course offerings are expanding, please go to gc.ai/learn-ai for the latest on which courses are eligible.

Yes, you'll receive a certification and LinkedIn Badge to show off your new skills.

The classes are taught using GC AI, a legal-specific AI platform. Participants receive a free trial of GC AI (14 days for individual courses, 30 days for the Custom class). GC AI also offers a Word add-in, giving participants hands-on experience with AI-powered document editing directly in Microsoft Word. While the course focuses on GC AI, the skills learned can be applied to general-purpose AI tools.

No preparation is required. You’ll receive an email with login instructions before the session. All you need is a laptop and a web browser. We love an interactive class, so participants are encouraged to be on camera and ready to engage.

These classes teach you practical, immediately useful skills in AI for legal work. You'll learn how to get high-quality outputs from AI tools across drafting, reviewing, editing, and research. The skills compound as you build them into your daily workflows.

Yes. The courses assume you're a legal professional with basic tech skills (e.g., using a web browser) but do not assume any prior AI experience. If you can write an email, you can use AI for your legal work.
